Love I Can’t Ignore

Surrounded by a whistling round

In trees outside my sliding door

I marvel at Your reveille

Stirs love for You I can’t ignore

I’m captured by dawn’s dulcet sound

Into my heart Your grace does pour

And think of Your most joyfully

Stirs love for You I can’t ignore

Your love for me from notes expound

Orchestral soothing chorus soars

And raise the skies with utmost plea

Stirs love for You I can’t ignore

As praises list your love abounds

On wings of winsome grace before

Whose ears will hear whose eyes will see

Stirs love for You I can’t ignore

Still sweetly trilling so profound

Through tears it’s You who I adore

For You have broken my heart free

Stirs love for You I can’t ignore

  1. The birds are chirping now this morning. I leave bread for them in the backyard every day. Seems they really do have memory. It disappears soon after.

Here is another poem of praise and inspiration from my Sister in Christ, Susan Irene Fox. If you haven’t been blessed by visiting her site, you are the one missing out on many very inspired blessings! Pastor Roland Ledoux

  4. Puts me in the mind of a heavenly chorus of praises to the Lord. The imagery you bring to mind Sis is remarkable. I praise the Lord for His love exemplified in your willingness to share such a remarkable gift! I want to reblog if you don’t mind.

    1. Thank you, Roland. I honestly can’t take full credit; sometimes the Spirit just places the thought or picture inside my head, and the words just come. And of course, reblog!

  7. As a dear pants for water so our souls do Him. I understand Susan. Such soul searching. God said that those that seek would find. You are always looking my dear sister. I am sure you have found him. Yet you are still seeking more of him. How beautiful is that. Lord let me see you and hear you and never grow weary of seeking you.

PS Be sure and eat a hotdog or hamburger for memorial day and remember those who paid the price.

    Much love Tom
