God’s Voice

WillowTree

The earth melts at the sound of God’s voice

And rejoices as his whisper soothes

Those who pursue his solace

For once we walk the road of choice

Toward God, we can hear him everywhere.

His sparkling sound speaks precious truths;

It matters little the time or place.

The branch hears the Spirit pray;

From the Vine all sustenance conveys

For life is found there.

Thank you to Melissa for the inspiration for this post

  2. Beautiful, Susan. No, more like wow! I think I just experienced the words. As I was reading them I could feel them run through me. I thought I could hear the living water sparkle as it washed over my soul. Thank you for blessing us so much with your “living” poems! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Beth. I so very much needed to give inspiration this morning. Found the photo on Google; tried to find the photographer and couldn’t, so wasn’t able to give credit. Thought it perfectly illustrated what my words said.
