Speak not with anger, curse or spite
Let His words flow with love’s invite
For Tuesday’s child to offer grace
To all we meet is no disgrace; for glory’s light.
Let’s speak the words which Jesus said
To ones for whom he died and bled
So others see His precious face
And feel the warmth of His embrace; for grace He pled.
Yet lest we’re tempted to forget
His death released us all from debt
He rose ensuring shame’s replaced
With love flows over, fills the space; leaves no regret.
And now we carry Spirit’s heart
With certainty we’ll never part
Equipped to speak from Spirit’s place
Extending love, no strings, no trace; He’ll not depart.
Our Lord, our Jesus on us smiles
And we, His grace-filled Tuesday’s child
Must learn to tender peace and grace
So all creation is embraced and reconciled.
