Can I know God personally?

Just saw this. Worth a look. Had to share. Tears. Speechless.

    1. Thank you for posting it. It’s an experience tough for most of us to explain.

  3. So…if you can converse with yourself and have a woo woo experience that something is inside you that makes you feel good…that’s the god experience?

I don’t get it. I honestly don’t. On top of that, every religion will say the same thing.

    1. A “woo-woo” experience? Sounds kind of condescending; I expect more of you. No, it’s not about a conversation with myself. And truthfully, this is one of those things that’s difficult to explain to a non-believer (and please read this in a respectful tone of voice; that’s how I’m writing it.)
I know you honestly don’t get it; that’s what make it so difficult to explain. And every religion doesn’t say the same thing because not every religion believes in the Trinity.

It comes from a Christian’s belief (okay, let me use my belief as a Christian instead of making it global) that when Jesus died, he gave us his Spirit who lives in side us. His Spirit helps us communicate with Him and helps us hear His voice.

I know it’s easy to make fun of (the woo-woo stuff and all that), and I have been where you are. I didn’t “switch over,” so to speak, until about nine years ago. Never, ever thought I would be one of those “Jesus freaks” I used to shake my head at.

All I can tell you is – I’m not a wacko. My heart has been transformed. I think about things differently. And, yes, I have the experience daily of hearing from my God.

        Would spooky be better?

” And every religion doesn’t say the same thing because not every religion believes in the Trinity.”

Every religion describes similar experiences and magical or spooky feelings.

“Never, ever thought I would be one of those “Jesus freaks” I used to shake my head at. ”

        What made you switch over?

“All I can tell you is – I’m not a wacko.”

        I don’t think you’re a wacko. 🙂

I can’t answer that in a short comment. I guess if you’re serious and you really want to know, read my “About Me” pages. If you want to know more, email me. (fox_susanirene@yahoo.com)
I’ll be happy to have a more private discussion with you. It was a huge turning point, and happened in my mid-50s.
And thank you for asking. Cuz I do think you’re asking it seriously.
