I AM

I AM true mercy, makes no sense

Unending love pours to dispense.

This gift of love is free and clear;

In My pure love exists no fear.

I AM new grace at dawn’s commence;

In Me you can have confidence.

I heal, provide, am ever near,

In My pure love exists no fear.

I AM, though you may take offense

And turn away from evidence,

From starry nights to one small tear;

In My pure love exists no fear.

I AM complex, beyond immense

And knowing me and all contents

Will take a willing ear to hear

In My pure love exists no fear.

I AM, come to Me, no pretense,

As burdens lift and peace ascends

Beloved, I am always here

In My pure love exists no fear.

  1. There is nothing we can do to for Him to love us any more. Grace! Your words grace—-fully tell us. 💜

  2. I decided to go to church this morning with my husband. The Sunday school class was just the antithesis of this poem. It hurts hearing that we need to work to stay in Jesus’ good grace. He no where says that. I don’t need to get up in the morning and painstakingly making a to-do list. Jesus knows what he wants me to do and it just gets confusing when he has something for me to do and I take the entire day trying to make it through my to-do.

    1. That’s so sad to hear, Susan. We always are offered the grace and love of Jesus. It is ours as adopted sons and daughter of the Most High God. We simply must make the choice to abide in His light instead of listening to all that other stuff.

  4. When I read this post this am Susan I thought about the song, run to me and at the mercy seat. I also thought about being abel to go straight to the throne into the Holy of Holys and be with God. I love the lord so much for what he had done and his grace and mercy. Beautiful thoughts from you. Thank you for sharing.

    Much love Tom

    1. I think that’s why I love Him, too, Tom. He does so much without our even asking.
