The Wind’s Chorus

Breeze does gently whisper solace

Comfort, kindness, voiceless peerless

Soothing worry, cooling temper;

Spirit bring to mind my Savior

Wafting, rustling in wind’s chorus

Deep inside is strength filled fortress

Questions are returned answer

Spirit bring to mind my Savior

Hurricane in caring fierceness

Yanks away temptation’s judas

In my anxious cumbrous labor

Spirit bring to mind my Savior

Tempest, gust or flurry gracious

All restore, remove my blindness

I rejoice to learn and linger

Spirit bring to mind my Savior

Mistral, come: I am your canvas

Help to keep me mindful, conscious

Let my love grow ever deeper

Spirit bring to mind my Savior

Do not be amazed that I said to you, “You must be born again.” The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:7-8

  1. Such a precious post. I have neb down Latley thinking about Kelly. This reminded me to stay focused on the only one who makes me whole. Beautifully written Susan.
